EMDR Consultation for Therapists
I am a certified EMDR therapist and a Consultant in Training (CIT) approved by the EMDR International Association. I offer consultation services for therapists who are working toward EMDRIA certification, as well as clinicians seeking to deepen their clinical confidence, refine their case conceptualization, and strengthen their EMDR practice.
My consultation approach is integrative and grounded in evidence-based practice. In addition to EMDR, I am a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) therapist, with extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Schema Therapy (ST), IFS-Informed EMDR (Kendhal Hart Model), Easy Ego State (Robin Shapiro), Imaginal Nurturing (April Steele Model), Polyvagal Theory (Deb Dana), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
In my consultations, I draw flexibly from these modalities to enrich and deepen the standard EMDR framework, particularly the Eight-Phase Model and the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model. This allows for a more tailored, clinically responsive approach to complex cases.
Who This Consultation Is For
- Therapists pursuing EMDRIA certification
- Clinicians who have completed EMDR basic training and required consultation hours
- Therapists seeking support with challenging or “stuck” cases
- Professionals who want to integrate EMDR with other therapeutic approaches
What We Can Work On

Important Note on Certification
As a Consultant in Training (CIT), I can provide consultation hours that count toward EMDRIA certification (up to the allowable limit).
However, I am not yet eligible to provide the official letter of recommendation for certification. This must be obtained from an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, each of whom has their own requirements regarding consultation hours prior to issuing the letter.
